Binka
A tv programme for pre school kids. Its about a big black and white cat called Binka. Binka has three houses. Binka has some friends, Tango the dog and a siamese called Suki, Binka likes Suki a lot. Stories are five minutes long and narrated by Stephen Tomkinson. Its lovely. I discovered Binka in my third year of uni when I used to watch it before a nine o'clock lecture. When my timetable changed I started getting up specially to watch it.
Binka looks like Binka (There used to be a better website.) I've just found out that there's a dvd, this is very exciting!
Nanaki
A local instrumental post rock band. They is noisy and fun. They haven't played for ages, I miss them.

Okkervil River
Aka Stupid Dan Music. Dan's favourite band, when I was in Scotland for Carys and Kev's wedding I picked up the album 'Black Sheep Boy', purely because if Dan liked them so much they were worth checking out. I listened and fell in love with the song 'For Real'. I couldn't get it out of my head for days but only knew about a line of lyrics; thus Okkervil River became known as Stupid Dan Music. Their music is alt-folky and probably other genres but I don't know 'cause I'm rubbish with genres. They're lovely though, I know that.
Their distributers hate me though. I've had stuff on order with them for about a year, but its never arrived. I only managed to get hold of stuff when I went to Chicago and really amused cute boys in music shops by being so excited about it.
Okkervil River

Part of a grid round the bottom of some trees outside the Chiago Cultural Centre. They were so cool I had to take pictures. I must have looked highly amusing taking pics of the pavement.

The art work from Placebo's This Picture single. A picture I've always loved. The text is the title of my favourite Counting Crows song.

Gus, my lovely, lovely cat. Also the first photo I took on my first digital camera.
