fishwink gave me 't'. So here goes:
These Days by weirdo
Guh, just guh. Its gorgeous. Its been known to put me on the verge of tears when it appears randomly on the ipod. But then I have to listen to it again. Also, I can only barely watch it live (the listening to it live is fine, the watching Dan look like he's having a nervous breakdown isn't). Its gorgeous though.
The Prayer by Bloc Party
Saw this on MTV2 at something o'clock on saturday. Its been stuck in my head all day. Really atmospheric. And it makes me think of a great night out.
To Hell With Good Intentions by McClusky
'my band is bigger than your band, we've got more songs than a song convention'
hehehehehhe (yes that is my reason.)
Tired of You by Foo Fighters
I love this song, and its fab live.
The Groove by Muse
Funky and lovely and I wish they'd play bsides live.
Think by Ateatha Franklin
Its strong, its angry and its in The Blues Brothers.
Tomorrow by Me First and the Gimmmie Gimmies
Yes, the one from Annie. That I hate. But this lot's silly cover version makes me smile (as do all their cover versions).
Taste You by Mellissa Auf Der Maur
Gen, Andy and I saw Mellissa Auf Der Maur supporting APC before her album came out. I got the album, which is great. This is my favourite track from it. Then I saw half of her set at Leeds (she clashed with Placebo, like their was a choice).
That's How You Sing Amazing Grace by Low
Lovely and atmospheric, and just before Canada on the album.
The Manifesto by Goldie Lookin Chain
GLC are ace. :)
